Report Steps for approval
Click on the EIS RMS Icon on the desktop
Click on RMS Entry
You will see the reports on the dashboard that are ready to be looked at. When you pull the report up, it will be the read mode; use the annotation buttons at the top to “mark” up the report if it needs corrections. Click on the ACTION button to pull up the mask to approve or reject
To reject a report, check the reject box, you can also put in a due date; types any additional comments and SAVE. To approve the report, check the Approve checkbox. If needed you can route the report to the Detectives, assign it to an officer or detective or route it to Records.
The report will be removed from your dashboard and will be on the deputy(s). When the officer opens Entry, he needs to pull up the report, make necessary corrections and check the Report Complete box under Report Completion.
