Summary
This document provides an overview of the impactful changes to EIS Public Safety Software products in the highly anticipated second edition release for 2025. This comprehensive update encompasses all EIS products, including RMS, JMS, and CAD, with a focus on the significant enhancements made to the RMS product.
Each release is designed to address corrections and introduce powerful enhancements that elevate the functionality and efficiency of our systems. This document meticulously categorizes the key products and modules, offering an in-depth exploration of their features and capabilities.
Given the highly configurable nature of EIS systems, please be aware that your agency's actual interface and functionality may vary slightly from the descriptions provided. Embrace these advancements to enhance your agency's performance and delivery service.
Document Convention
We have included a quick visual indicator to describe each item as either a product feature enhancement or a fix to an existing element. Items are not presented in any specific order within the document.
The NEW Icon indicates a new feature added to the application.
The UPDATE Icon indicates an update to a feature or function currently deployed.
The FIX-IT icon indicates a correction or a modification to an existing deployed function.

EIS is committed to delivering updates twice yearly, ensuring our services meet your needs continuously. The timing of these deployments is strategically determined based on contractual obligations, the specific modules being deployed, agency discretion, and any unique challenges or requirements your agency may face.

The following changes are incorporated in the July 2025 RMS Law Management Service pack, which includes 2025 hotfixes. For this update, you will need .NET framework 4.6.2 or higher.

Added the ability to add interface options to the Report Viewer screen. This only works for incident reports.

Multimedia Security Enhancement
When this new feature is enabled, a new level of flexibility is introduced for users with the appropriate media write level permissions. This means they can contribute media to a report even if their own write level is lower than that of the report itself.
For example, if a report has a write level of 80, Jane, who has a general write level of 50, typically couldn't contribute. However, if she has write level 80 for media permissions, she can add media to the report. This feature enhances collaboration and ensures valuable media contributions aren't lost due to permission issues. For more information, contact our customer support at 208-580-0400.

EIS is excited to introduce an enhanced configuration option for the MNI checkbox, which can now be set to be "unchecked" by default for the Incident, Citation, FI, and Trespass modules. This powerful update puts you in complete control of your MNI database, enabling you to manage which names are included precisely. Take advantage of this opportunity to tailor your experience and streamline your processes. MNI records will be correctly generated for names created with the Exist button, ensuring precision and reliability.

Allow Match with no ID
EIS is excited to unveil a powerful new system key that effectively prevents the creation of duplicate name records in the MNI database. By activating this innovative key, IDs from a query will be disregarded if there is no match in an existing MNI record containing no IDs.
For instance, if Matt Test has an MNI record without any identification, and a user conducts an MNI search for Matt Test with an identification, the system will accurately match the records. This ensures that users can confidently determine if they are looking at the correct individual to include in their report. This enhancement not only streamlines the search process but also significantly improves the integrity of our database.

Use of Force Submission
Overview
EIS is excited to announce a significant enhancement: you can now submit use-of-force incidents directly to the state through the Florida IBR Submission Application. This streamlined process eliminates the need to report incidents separately on their website, allowing you to manage everything efficiently within the app. Embrace this new convenience and ensure your reporting is both simplified and effective!
Introduction
When the "Use of Force" (UoF) checkbox is checked on the Incident face page and UoF information is submitted, the application will proactively collect and rigorously validate both the UoF data and the incident details. It is crucial to understand that if there are any validation errors in the UoF section, neither the incident nor the UoF information will be uploaded. This ensures that only accurate and complete information is processed. Therefore, all validation errors must be promptly addressed to facilitate a seamless submission.
Submission
There is no separate process for submitting UOF incidents; you will continue to submit and upload them just as you do your regular submissions. Any issues concerning UoF validations will be prominently displayed on the State Reporting validation screen within the RMS Entry system (above) and in the error listing report generated by the submission application. When a UoF report successfully passes validation, the incident listing will detail the number of subjects and enforcement officials involved. The UoF information will be highlighted as a distinct entry in the report, designated with the case type "UOF." This ensures transparency and accountability in our reporting process.
When an incident involves Use of Force information, we will ensure that both the UoF details and the incident details are uploaded together seamlessly. Any validation errors identified by the State will be clearly outlined in the CJIS error report, marked with the "UOF:" indicator. This designation emphasizes that the listed errors specifically relate to Use of Force validation, allowing for swift and effective resolution.

Use of Force Zero Report
EIS has introduced a valuable new feature that allows you to efficiently report zero use-of-force incidents for any month when there were none. This feature also allows you to delete a zero report for a given month and year. This enhancement not only saves you precious time but also streamlines your reporting process, enabling you to handle everything in a convenient location. Say goodbye to the hassle of visiting the website to do this—embrace this effortless solution that simplifies your reporting duties.

Select the month, year, and agency, then either submit or delete.

Delete Reports from Repository
Specific reports may need to be removed from the repository, and the only effective method for doing so is through a delete statement. To empower users in this process, EIS has introduced a powerful new tool within the submission application, conveniently located under the utilities section, called "Delete Reports." It’s important to note that use-of-force reports are exceptions to this process and cannot be deleted from the repository at this time. You also cannot delete another agency’s report. This tool streamlines report management, ensuring you have the flexibility you need when handling your data.
Please follow these step-by-step instructions.

Click on “Add” or “Enter”
